Kumho Tire in Macon to Hold Hiring Events Later this Summer

Kumho Tire, which is building its first North American manufacturing plant in Macon, is well into construction of the 1-million-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Sofkee Industrial Park.
The Korean-based tire company began construction on its $413 million facility in August 2014. It plans to hire about 450 people and begin production in early 2016.
