OneSouth Bank, Macon’s newest community bank, will hold its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, February 27, at 11 a.m.  A division of the Bank of Early based in Blakely, Georgia, OneSouth Bank is located at 4070 Forsyth Road in Macon.

Prior to opening this full-service bank, the Bank of Early has had a loan production office under the OneSouth name on Bass Road since 2011. Macon native Randy Griffin is regional president for OneSouth Bank and executive vice president of the Bank of Early.

“We have a team of experienced local bankers running the new Macon location,” said Griffin. Four employees from the former Bass Road loan office have transferred to the new location, and five more employees have been hired by OneSouth Bank.

OneSouth Bank has three drive-thru lanes and an ATM lane at its Forsyth Road location, which most recently housed Ameris Bank.  The lobby is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and drive-thru lanes are open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
