As part of Women’s History Month, every year Career Women’s Network (CWN) honors its Women of Achievement, where we recognize women for their achievements and contributions to the advancement of women, their communities and their professions. This year’s honorees are none other than CWN’s own, Mrs. Amy Maley and Mrs. Cyndey Costello Busbee.

Cynthia (Cyndey) Costello Busbee has been with Central Georgia Health System for 12 years and is the Assistant Vice President for Corporate Communications and Business Development.  Cyndey is a graduate of Leadership Macon and Georgia; she is a past Assistant Governor for Rotary region 6920, serves as the Chair of the Economic Development Committee for the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce, and proudly serves on the Central Georgia Boy Scout Council and Grand Opera House Board.  She just completed her term as Cherry Blossom President and Trustee and in 2006 was recognized as one of Macon Magazine’s 5 Under 40.

Amy Maley is currently in financial planning and is a partner in The McSwain, Young, Maley Group at Merrill Lynch. Amy has been instrumental in making our community a better place to work and live. She has generously devoted her time to lead as President of both Career Women’s Network and the Rotary Club of Downtown Macon. She has served on many non-profit boards, sharing her expertise to help the organizations succeed and thereby enriching our community.

A special Awards Presentation Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Ballroom of the Professional Sciences Building and Conference Center at Middle Georgia State College.
