Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of Plantation Village, a 52,228-square-foot retail and office space in Macon, Georgia. The 18-suite property sold for $9,125,000.

Jared Kaye, first vice presidents of investments and Sonny Molloy, senior vice president of investments represented the buyer, a limited liability company.

“This was a unique opportunity for the buyer to acquire a strong performing asset with a value-add component due to vacancy,” said Kaye. “Immediately after taking the title, the buyer was working with multiple leads to backfill the vacant spaces which speaks to the strength of the asset and market.”

Built in 2005, the 7.88-acre property is tenanted by Moe’s Southwest Grill, Goodwill, Great Clips, and T-Mobile. The shopping plaza is surrounded by national brands, including Kohl’s, Waffle House, Walgreens, Lowe’s, Walmart Supercenter, and Kroger.

Plantation Village is located at 6255 Zebulon Rd in Macon, Georgia.
