Christmas In Downtown Macon Offers Holiday Fun For The Whole Family

On Saturday, December 11 from 12pm to 4pm, NewTown Macon will host Christmas in Downtown in partnership with Just Tap’d Macon. 

Christmas in Downtown is Middle Georgia’s largest family-friendly Christmas festival celebrating small businesses. The festival features free hot chocolate, selfies with Santa Claus, music, and holiday crafts. In addition to a full slate of holiday activities, Christmas in Downtown also includes a Makers Market featuring local vendors. 

Activities during Christmas in Downtown take place from 12pm to 4pm at various locations throughout downtown Macon. Locations of activities are listed below:

  • Makers Market –Macon City Auditorium (415 First Street)

  • Free selfies with Santa –The Cellar at Just Tap’d (488 First Street)

  • Free hot chocolate –First Street

  • Ceramic Ornament Painting –567 Center for Renewal (456 First Street)

  • Project BAAD, featuring live music –Rosa Parks Square

  • Elfie Selfies -Travis Jean Emporium + The Bohemian Den (522 Cherry Street)
