Bike Tech Celebrates Grand Opening of New Downtown Location with Giveaways, Demos, & Fundraiser Ride

Friday, November 12th, 2021

Bike Tech is now open in Downtown Macon. The independent, family-owned bike business has moved from its original Vineville location to 909 Second Street and is ready for you to visit.

The Grand Opening celebration kicks off on Friday, November 12th, with Little Light Coffee Co.’s Espresso Bar on-site.  Partners will also be at the shop, including Bike Walk Macon, Central Georgia Autism, Ucreate Macon, and Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions. In addition, vendors including Jamis, Muc-Off, and Thomson will be hosting demos, product giveaways, and tutorials throughout the day.

Saturday, November 13th, Bike Tech will host the 8th Annual Journey Ride for Central Georgia Autism. Riders will enjoy a beautiful scenic ride through the heart of Macon with rolling hills, adventure, and a fully supported Sag team. All skill levels are welcomed, offering 10, 30, and 60-mile ride options. All Proceeds benefit children and adults on the Autism Spectrum in Georgia by providing financial scholarships, family events, social groups, parent meetings, and more.

Bike Tech is a full-service bicycle shop that sells bikes built for all ages, abilities, and budgets (including e-bikes). It also offers a bike repair department that offers skilled repair and maintenance for all makes, models, and complexities – from bike washes, tune-ups, and flat tire repairs to complete overhauls.

The new location is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 am - 6 pm and Saturday 10 am - 3 pm. Visit www.biketechmacon.com
