U.S. Small Business Administration Roadshow to Stop at Georgia VECTR Center May 23rd

Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Tuesday, May 21st, 2019

The Georgia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is hitting the road to inform Georgia businesses of resources available to assist them, making a stop with its Roadshow at the Georgia Veterans Education Career Transition Resource (VECTR) Center on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The SBA Roadshow is designed for entrepreneurs seeking to establish a business, and existing business owners looking for techniques to advance and grow their business.

The SBA is delivering the Roadshow in partnership with multiple resource partners across the state, including the Georgia and South Carolina Veterans Business Opportunity Center (VBOC) housed at the Georgia VECTR Center.

As part of the VECTR Center’s one-stop-shop approach for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses into education and career, the addition of the VBOC and partnerships with the SBA for boosting the entrepreneurship of veterans is a natural fit.

The Roadshow, open to the community, will feature topics of discussion to include: government contracting, certifications, business growth strategies, financing, international trade, private sector networks, business advocacy, and updates on the state of the local economy.
