Georgia Employers’ Association to Host Spring Leadership Conference

Georgia Company executives and HR professionals will convene at the Westin Jekyll Island in late March to learn from high level business leaders, nationally known attorneys and Georgia Secretary of State, Brian Kemp. 

Secretary of State, Brian Kemp will review what to expect from the Georgia State Government in the coming year. 

Business Leaders include Stuart Countess, Chief Administrative Officer, Kia Motor Manufacturing Georgia and Tripp Amos, Marketing Director, AFLAC.  You will learn how AFLAC became one of the top twenty-five companies in the nation and how KIA is preparing for the future.  Greg Norred, CEO and founder of Norred & Associates will guide you through a personal plan to minimize your chance of being a victim of a violent crime, with an emphasis on business travel. 

Also on the agenda are nationally known attorneys from Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophet, LLP.  They will cover topics of interest and relevance to your business.  These topics include an update on the strength of unions in the state (Mel Haas) and understanding the use of Twitter (Alyssa Peters).  Also they will cover what regulations are expected to affect your business in the Trump Administration (Jeff Thompson) and help you avoid some of the costliest mistakes that businesses have made during previous years and how to prepare for an OSHA inspection (Bill Principe).
