GA Insurance Commissioner to Headline P&C Industry Day at Macon Sports Hall of Fame

Georgia’s Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens will headline this year’s annual event in Macon, on the importance of the property and casualty insurance business in the state of Georgia. The insurance industry employs roughly 95,000 people in the state, and contributes $8.9 billion to Georgia’s gross state product. Property and casualty insurance provides the consumer with financial risk management in various forms, such as automobile and homeowners policies, in addition to many more.

The event is open to the public, and costs $45 to attend. The fee includes a full day of programming from a variety of notable insurance industry experts. Lunch is included in the price, and will be catered by the Moonhanger Group.
