Staff Report From Middle Georgia CEO

Monday, January 19th, 2015

All That Jazz is the Tubman Museum’s signature fundraiser. Each year, contributors put on their after five attire to enjoy a celebrity recording artist, excellent food and an after party and dance. The Charles H. Jones Family Foundation is the presenting sponsor for this year’s event.

The 19th annual All That Jazz Concert & Ball will take place on January 31, 2015, 7 p.m. at the Macon City Auditorium at 415 First Street in downtown Macon. General admission for balcony seats is $25, and they can be purchased through Ticketmaster and Ticketmaster outlets. Floor seats are $125, and tables are $1,000 and can be reserved by calling the Tubman Museum at (478) 743-8544.

This black-tie benefit is held annually to raise funds for the Tubman Museum’s education and outreach programs. From museum tours about African American art, culture and history to after-school programs in the visual and performing arts that help bridge the learning and performance gap for at-risk students, the Tubman African American Museum plays a positive role in the education and lives of children, students, and families throughout Central Georgia.
